Spring/ summer /autumn

Best flight site in the Southern Apennines in the heart of the Matese Regional Park.

Technical and spectacular XC flights, from the mountain peaks to the generous flatlands.

Take-offs with exposure to any type of wind.

Typical Southern Italy welcome.

Flying over the Matese is for everyone: from students who take their first steps in this sport, to experts who try to fly far and long, passing through those who want to enjoy a quiet flight, land and immediately drink a good cold beer while enjoying some artfully cooked dish as you can find only in Southern Italy.

Thanks to the numerous take-offs both on the south and north facing sides, there are many possibilities to fly in the Matese Regional Park, guaranteeing flights in absolute safety with winds coming from all directions. In Spring and Summer it is not difficult to fly the entire length of the mountain range or explore the great flatland, with spacious and safe landings.

Enjoying the sunset in flight from Monte Gallinola (1923 meters above sea level) or from Monte Miletto (2050 meters above sea level), the highest peak of the Matese, is pure spectacle, with the two mountains overlooking the shores of Lake Matese.
