WHO WE ARE
Nomadwings is an ASD that intends to spread and promote the discipline of free flight through the proposal of a high range of educational courses and the practice of cross-country. The club was founded in 2007 under the name of “paragliding le Streghe”, and has as president Leone Antonio Pascale, a proferssional cross country pilot, competitor in the World Cup and represented of Italy in two editions of the most extreme paragliding competition: the Red Bull Xalps.
In the first year of its existence, the club immediately obtained an important result, ranking 11th in the national cross country championship (XContest 2007), also preceding numerous alpine and pre-alpine clubs; in 2015, on the other hand, he ranked first in the championship of Central Southern Italy, placing 3 pliots in the top four positions. The events that, more than others, bring him to the fore are undoubtedly the organization of the Italian Absolute Paragliding Championships (Matese Cup 2008), the Pre-world Cup the following year and the Paragliding World Cup in 2010.
The championships are a 360° success not only for the weather conditions and the orographic characteristics of the flying area (Matese mountains) but, above all, for the organizational skills demonstrated in managing events of such importance.

In recent years, thanks also to the inclusion of Alessio Casolla in the team, the club has significantly differentiated its proposal by dedicating itself mainly to four activities:
– the organization of national and international expeditions and trips in the name of pure cross country, fun and technical improvement.
Several destinations: Kenya, India, Nepal, Morocco, Ireland, Austria, Slovenia but also Alpine destinations and the Alpine foothills.
– the creation of customized tour packages for all those pilots who have shown interest in our splendid Matese and the northern area of Lake Garda and Val di Ledro.
– a complete and professional offer of tandem flights with professional pilots: tourist flight and XC educational flights.
– courses for the qualification to fly and, thanks to the undisputed professionalism of our team, advanced courses for those who want to improve themselves in the cross country discipline.

Alessio Casolla
TEST PILOT, DESIGNER, INSTRUCTOR, SIV COACH
Official test pilot and designer for “Swing paragliding”; paragliding, mountaineering, and canyoning instructor. The undisputed father of the SIV and pioneer of aerobatics in Italy, Alessio is the reference point for all pilots who aspire to safety and fun in aerobatics as well as in Cross Country.
Fabio Anzovino
INTERNATIONAL TOURS, TANDEM FLIGHTS, NOMAD
Wandering spirit, he is the organizer and manager of national and international tours; tandem pilot in one of the most important paragliding organization in Italy “FLY2FUN” and assistant for training courses to obtain paragliding license. Bivouac lover with some experiences along the Alps, the Atlas in Morocco and the Balkan in Bulgaria. Since 2018, thanks to the help of some of the best Italian acro pilots, he starts to enjoy the amazing paragliding world of acro.
Leone Antonio Pascale
PROFESSIONAL PILOT, INSTRUCTOR, XC RECORD HUNTER
Professional pilot since the early years of our sport, among his main accomplishments he can boast his selection and participation in two editions as Italy’s representative in the most important and extreme paragliding competition: the Red Bull X-Alps. A participation fruit of excellent results both in international competitions and in cross country competitions. A curriculum and wealth of experience that he shares with many pilots who participate in our tours in recent years.
